Who organized?

Hey folks,

I think we have enough critical mass to schedule our first meetup. There is a new milonga that is being put on by Rina Gendelman, aka Malajunta. She has agreed to support and welcome our group.

The plan is to first meet up for a meet/greet/eat so that we can introduce ourselves, then walk over to La Pista for Rina's lesson (which will be tailored to the group), followed by the milonga.

7-8:30 Meet/greet/eat - Mars Bar & Restaurant , back patio
8:30-9:30 Lesson @ La Pista, 768 Brannan (between 7th and 6th st, upstairs)
9:30 - Inaugural 80/20 Milonga @ La Pista

$15 for the lesson + milonga

Can you guys give me an idea of what level you are at, to see if it makes sense to do an additional lesson for our group.

Let's make our first outing a successful one!

      “ I wanted to say that the organization of the tango event was really bad. Me and my friend went to La pista at 8:30pm and we got there and the lady at the front desk said we had to pay $15 dollars. We didn't know there was a cover charge since it was not mention in the meetup for tango. Also when we got there there was only like 4 people at La Pista. ”
